In 2012, Gus co-founded The Martinez Team, which quickly became a top producer in the highly competitive South Florida market. Under his leadership, the team has consistently delivered exceptional results in sales, leasing, and client representation. Building on this success, he co-founded CMV Realty, operating as CMV Commercial, in 2024, a firm dedicated to innovation, superior service, and leveraging cutting-edge technology to help clients and team members achieve their goals.

Beyond his leadership in brokerage, Gus plays a significant role in shaping the region’s commercial real estate landscape. He serves as the President of the South Florida Broker Association (SFOBA). He is also a past President of the Realtor Commercial Alliance (RCA).

Over the course of his career, Gus has successfully completed over 800 transactions, representing more than 6 million square feet of commercial space.
